Description
The COVID-19 pandemic exposed health disparities that disproportionately affect communities of color. In response, the Northeast Colorado Health Department established a Health Equity unit and partnered with OneMorgan County to establish a multilingual community health worker program. The program has since evolved to address broader health inequities experienced by immigrants and refugees in the area. The session will highlight how the program elevates community voice to generate healthier communities.
