About The Colorado Foundation Pulse Poll
At The Colorado Health Foundation, we believe in listening first. Each year, we work to ensure Coloradans’ voices are heard on issues like affordable housing, health care and economic concerns. Grounded in the lived experiences of people across the state, the Pulse Poll offers valuable insights to help shape policies that will improve the long-term health and well-being of Colorado’s communities. The Colorado Health Foundation is excited to share the results of the 2026 Pulse Poll on Thursday, July 16 at 10 a.m. MT.
From housing and cost of living to mental health and child care, the poll takes the pulse of Coloradans on a range of important issues every year to inform future policy.
This year’s poll reveals that rising costs continue to shape daily life across the state, forcing many residents to make difficult tradeoffs, delay care, cut back on spending and reconsider whether they can afford to remain in Colorado long term. At the same time, many Coloradans express deep frustration with the government’s ability to address these challenges, and they share a growing desire for elected leaders to restore confidence, deliver results and improve quality of life.

During this virtual briefing, we will share findings from conversations with more than 2,300 Coloradans and provide an in-depth look at the challenges people are facing, how those experiences are affecting their lives, and the solutions they want policymakers to prioritize.
We will also host a special deep dive in September focused on responses from Hispanic and Latino Coloradans, offering additional insights into the experiences of these communities. Stay tuned for more details about that event.
