The Colorado Health Foundation is excited to share the results of the 2026 Pulse Poll. From housing and cost of living to mental health and child care, the poll takes the pulse of Coloradans on a range of important issues every year to inform future policy.

This year’s poll reveals that rising costs continue to shape daily life across the state, forcing many residents to make difficult tradeoffs, delay care, cut back on spending and reconsider whether they can afford to remain in Colorado long term. At the same time, many Coloradans express deep frustration with the government’s ability to address these challenges, and they share a growing desire for elected leaders to restore confidence, deliver results and improve quality of life.

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, The Colorado Health Foundation (CHF) is spotlighting key issues affecting Colorado’s Hispanic and Latino communities during an in-person Pulse Poll briefing on September 24 at 5:30 p.m. This virtual briefing will be a simultaneous broadcast of an in-person briefing at The Colorado Health Foundation. We’ll share detailed data on the challenges Hispanic and Latino Coloradans are facing, how those challenges are affecting their lives and the solutions they want lawmakers to prioritize.

This year’s data show that affordability pressures are hitting Hispanic and Latino Coloradans harder and more persistently than the general population. Across nearly every measure, Latinos report greater financial strain, more worry and more lived consequences. These disparities reflect a multi-year pattern showing that Hispanic and Latino Coloradans are carrying a disproportionate share of the state’s affordability crisis.
