Jamie Dominguez (he/him) was born in the San Luis Valley. After battling a substance abuse problem in his early adult life, he developed a passion for advocacy work in his community and founded the Five Star Riders Car Club. The club initially focused on annual toy drives and other philanthropic work within the community. More recently, Jamie and his wife, Cristalray, have established their own nonprofit organization called Shooting Stars Cultural and Leadership Center. The center's mission revolves around challenging systems of racism and systematic oppression.
