Join us as we talk about how we stepped into our power to create change. As people of color from Latino backgrounds, we often found ourselves sitting at tables where we did not feel we belonged. However, we came to realize that our voices are crucial in addressing and dismantling the barriers that affect minority communities. We will guide you from our beginnings as parents and community members to our present roles as nonprofit founders and program directors, and we will share our experiences of advocating for underrepresented communities. This journey was challenging, but the fight and commitment to achieving better health equity for people of color make it worthwhile.
