Hayden Dansky (they/them) is a co-founder and co-director of Boulder Food Rescue, a community-led nonprofit that works to create a more just and less wasteful food system. They are also a co-founder of Food Rescue Alliance, a national social impact network of food rescues organizing to advance health equity and participatory grassroots food access programs. Their approach is trauma-informed, as they work to democratize leadership and share power. Outside of food systems work, they have helped to create Denver Doikayt, a Jewish activist group that engages in Indigenous solidarity projects, Boulder Food Not Bombs, and an LGBTQ+ housing cooperative.
