Charlyn Moss (she/her) currently serves as the inaugural chief operations officer for the Economic Development Association for Black Communities. In the role, she manages and handles the daily business operations of the organization, working closely with the CEO. Charlyn is also the founder of Working Within, a consulting firm that helps Black social enterprise leaders access revenue while staying on mission through strategic planning, evaluation, revenue strategy, marketing and partnerships. Charlyn has previously served as chief of staff at EdSolutions and worked as an analyst with Redstone Strategy Group consulting for national foundations in both the education and economic equity fields. Her most notable project involved managing the strategy refresh for a client’s $300 million portfolio of national K-12 education investments. Residing in the Denver metro area, Charlyn served as president of the Young Professionals Inclusive Leadership Council for GlobalmindEd and was selected as a 2022 Connect Leadership Fellow for the Urban Leadership Foundation of Colorado, where she received the Richard Lewis Rising Star Award.
