Organizations across the globe are beginning to embrace equitable initiatives from a programmatic lens. While we both applaud and acknowledge the ongoing need for impactful and sustainable programs, programs can often present as mere band-aids on the deeper, systemic issues they are designed to address. So how do we, as a community, stop the proverbial bleeding while simultaneously preparing for the "surgery" that is needed to build equity into the systems and organizations that impact our daily lives?
