Jason Legg (he/him) is a movement lawyer who has been contracting with 9to5’s legal program for about four years, beginning when the 9to5 legal program was just a year old. Most of his professional legal experience has revolved around representing tenants and mobile homeowners through class action lawsuits and impact litigation. Jason grew up in public housing, which was a significant factor in influencing him to work in the land and housing justice movement. His deep commitment to community and grassroots organizing has made him an incredibly trusted partner of 9to5, and he is working to use his experience to grow the movement lawyering infrastructure in Colorado.
