You will hear a personal testimony outlining the transformative impact of a local guaranteed income pilot program run by Elephant Circle, supplemented by a brief overview of unrestricted cash assistance models and common myths that work against building a successful GI program on a large scale. We'll then engage in a facilitated discussion to collectively dream about a people-centered direct cash assistance program in our state and what its creation would entail.
