Here are some answers to frequently asked questions about the in-person Symposium. If you have additional questions that aren’t answered here, please email us.

The Symposium will take place at the Keystone Conference Center in Keystone, Colorado. The Conference Center is located at 633 Tennis Club Rd in Dillon, CO. A map of the grounds can be found here.

In addition to organic networking that takes place during breaks, lunch and receptions, there will be afternoon and evening activities available such as yoga and workshops. Check out the program for a list of activities. You may also take advantage of a self-guided hike as well as the fitness center and pool.

The Symposium officially runs from 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26 to around noon on Friday, July 28. Note: Symposium check in opens at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday. 

Complimentary parking is available in the Lakeside Village Conference Center lot adjacent to the Conference Center. Complimentary resort shuttles run regularly throughout the entire property.

Your lodging confirmation will indicate where you are staying and where to check in. Please note we have done our best to accommodate special lodging requests, but cannot guarantee them. The 2023 Colorado Health Symposium, “People-Powered Transformation” will bring together community advocates, grassroots leaders, innovators, experts and others to build up and harness people-power to generate positive change and bring health within reach for all Coloradans.

The temperature in Keystone and its buildings can vary so layers are recommended. Bring workout clothes if you would like to take advantage of complimentary yoga or self-guided hiking, workout facilities and/or pool. Keep in mind:

Keystone is more than 9,000 feet above sea level. Be sure to pack a water bottle and stay well-hydrated throughout the Symposium.

The sun can be intense at Keystone’s high altitude. Bring and use sunscreen while outdoors.

All Symposium guests will receive a name badge upon check-in, which you will need to have prominently displayed throughout the duration of the Symposium.

Limited entry points to the Conference Center and armed, plain clothes officers from the Summit County Sheriff’s Department will be onsite during all programming.

No weapons of any kind are allowed on the premises. All guests will be required to follow the same procedure to create a shared safe experience.

Your name badge is required to participate in the Symposium. If you lose your name badge, please ask a staff member at the Symposium check-in desk for a new one.

More information will be provided during Symposium check-in for those who have requested language interpretation, mobility support, access to a lactation room or other needs.

This year, the Foundation is incorporating a low-sensory area titled, “The Chill Lounge.” This space was designed for our guests to slow down, relax and find simple moments of self-care. A white noise machine and ear plugs will be available to better support a low-sensory experience for guests who need it.

Meals are provided for registered conference guests and include: 

Breakfast: 7:30 a.m- 9:00 a.m.Wednesday – Friday

Lunch and evening heavy appetizers: Wednesday – Thursday

Snacks & Beverages: Available throughout the conference, including to-go snacks at the close of programming on Friday afternoon.

The health and safety of Symposium attendees is among our highest priorities. If you attend the Colorado Health Symposium, we ask that you take the following precautions:

Ensure that your vaccinations are up-to-date. Although proof of vaccination is not required, The Colorado Health Foundation encourages vaccines and related boosters, consistent with CDC recommendations.

We encourage you to take an at-home COVID rapid antigen test 24 hours before traveling to Keystone.

Do not attend the Symposium if you test positive for COVID or exhibit COVID symptoms. While at the Symposium, immediately remove yourself from participation if you exhibit COVID symptoms.

Wear a mask in crowded indoor settings. Masks aren’t required and are optional for all attendees.

If you booked your own lodging in Keystone and your organization qualifies for sales tax exemption, the proper documentation is required prior to or at the time of check-in, or Keystone Resort will apply tax to your lodging charges. You must present a Colorado Affidavit or tax-exempt status documentation at the time of check-in for sales tax exemption.
