About The Colorado Foundation Pulse Poll

At The Colorado Health Foundation, we believe in listening first. Each year, we work to ensure Coloradans’ voices are heard on issues like affordable housing, health care and economic concerns. Grounded in the lived experiences of people across the state, the Pulse Poll offers valuable insights to help shape policies that will improve the long-term health and well-being of Colorado’s communities. About the Phased Released

We’re releasing findings from the Pulse Poll in three phases, with multiple ways to engage with the data that interests you most. In July, we’ll begin with a focused release on the issues Coloradans identified as most pressing. In August, we’ll share a full deep-dive into the data, followed by a Spanish-language release in September featuring additional insights from Hispanic and Latino respondents.

Colorado’s affordability crisis continues to dominate headlines, but this year’s Pulse Poll revealed something new: a dramatic rise in concern about government, politics, and polarization. For the first time, more Coloradans cited political dysfunction as the state’s top issue, surpassing housing and the cost of living. This session will explore the interconnected factors driving Coloradans’ sense of unease, from mounting economic pressures to an eroding trust in government. What does it mean when people view the system as both unaffordable and unresponsive?

The Pulse Poll reveals more than just what Coloradans care about; it highlights how those concerns differ based on where people live, their political identities, and the economic pressures they face. This session will delve into those differences, including the urban-rural divide, distinctions between renters and homeowners, and the perspectives of unaffiliated voters and those not registered to vote. Together, these insights uncover meaningful patterns in Coloradans’ lived experience and what matters most to communities across the state.
