Voces Unidas
Alex Sánchez is the founder, President and CEO of Voces Unidas, the first multi-entity, Latino-created and Latino-led nonprofit organizations in the central mountain region. He leads Voces Unidas de las Montañas, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and Voces Unidas Action Fund, a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization. With extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, political consulting, and senior management in corporate and government sectors, Alex has dedicated his career to community organizing and service. A son of Mexican immigrants, Alex grew up in Jalisco, Mexico, and moved to Colorado at age 9. He is the first in his family to graduate high school and earn degrees from Colorado Mountain College and Colorado State University. He actively contributes to various causes and serves on the boards of Rocky Mountain Health Foundation, COLOR, Conservation Colorado, and Anderson Ranch Arts Center. He has also held positions on the Colorado Mesa University Board of Trustees, the Medical Board of Colorado, and was a Senior Fellow at the Mexican American Solidarity Foundation and a member of the CCIME.
