Ali Saad (he/him), M.D., who is board-certified in neurology, stroke and lifestyle medicine, has been practicing medicine for over 10 years and is a Climate & Health Science Policy Fellow at the University of Colorado. His advocacy work focuses on diet as the leading cause of death and disability, accounting for a third of global greenhouse gas emissions. This makes nutrition the most important issue at the intersection of human and planetary health. Ali chairs the neurology member interest group at the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
