Amanda Perez Herrera is the Community Engagement Coordinator at La Plaza. A lifelong Grand Junction resident, Amanda is a third-generation Coloradan on her mother's side and a first-generation Mexican American on her father's. She holds an Associate of Social Sciences and a Bachelor of Social Work from Colorado Mesa University. Passionate about social justice and community engagement, Amanda is dedicated to serving the Grand Valley and supporting the hands that harvest through her work with agricultural communities. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and exploring new foods and experiences.
