
Joy-Ann Reid is an award-winning journalist, bestselling author, and former host of MSNBC’s The ReidOut, where she made history as the first Black woman to host a primetime cable news program. Previously, she hosted the hit show AM Joy. She is the author of Fracture: Barack Obama, the Clintons, and the Racial Divide; We Are the Change We Seek; The Man Who Sold America; and her latest #1 New York Times bestseller Medgar & Myrlie. Reid also hosts two podcasts and co-hosted MSNBC’s The Culture Is: Black Women. She has been recognized with multiple honors, including NAACP Image Awards, and awards from the National Association of Black Journalists and the Women’s Media Center. Reid is a visiting professor at Howard University, teaching about race, gender, and politics. She is celebrated for her bold analysis on democracy, culture, and justice.
