Monticue Connally is an African American shaman, herbalist, oracle reader, and lifelong student of plants. He authored the Afro Fantasy Walking Tree Oracle, a deck exploring plant allies, Blackness, and multidimensional healing. A bio-regional herbalist rooted in Colorado and Barbados, Monticue teaches at the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism and offers herb walks, oracle readings, and house blessings. He received the 2019 Preventative Care Leadership Award for his service to Black and Brown communities.
