He’s produced award-winning projects including Documented and White People (MTV), and is the first known undocumented lead producer on Broadway with Here Lies Love. His work explores identity, citizenship, and belonging, and he’s been featured on TIME’s cover and in the New York Times. Vargas serves on the advisory board for TheDream.US and has received numerous honors for his contributions to immigration discourse and arts activism.
