América Ramirez joined COLOR in August 2019. A bi-cultural Mexicana-Americana and daughter of immigrant parents, she was born and raised in Colorado. She earned bachelor’s degrees in integrative physiology and ethnic studies with a certificate in public health from CU Boulder. América is passionate about reproductive justice, social equity, dismantling oppression, civic engagement, and access to quality education and healthcare. She enjoys traveling, live music, deep conversations, and spending time with family and friends.
