Tina Griego is a veteran, national award-winning journalist whose work has focused on marginalized communities, including people of color, immigrants, refugees, those living in poverty, elders, and youth. She is a member of the Scripps Howard and Denver Press Club Halls of Fame. In 2020, she co-founded the Colorado News Collaborative (COLab), a nonprofit aimed at strengthening local news. Tina, a mother of two, resides in Fort Collins. A native New Mexican, she prefers red over green chile.
