Laura Martinez, a Colorado native, has resided in Commerce City for over 26 years. She earned her Journalism degree from the University of Denver. Six years ago, Laura began her community organizing journey, actively volunteering at her children's school and local church. She joined Cultivando as a Promotora three years ago, empowering her community and elevating their voices. Her environmental justice work fosters community engagement, advocacy, and leadership. Laura is passionate about giving back and creating new opportunities for her community's growth and empowerment.
