Kim Salvaggio studied Mass Media and Communications at Penn State University, which laid the foundation for her 20+ year career in media organizations. She has held positions in Human Resources and Operations, focusing on DEI at BBH/Publicis WorldWide, Public News Service, and Rocky Mountain Public Media. As a certified mediator, she uses her skills to bring understanding and equity. Kim is an active community member and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community, focusing on Trans Youth. She currently leads the Above the Noise Initiative, connecting community members with local newsrooms through long-term listening models that drive content relevancy.
