Kristen Collins moved from California to Colorado in 2013 to attend the University of Denver’s International Studies graduate program. She has worked in education and community engagement for 10 years, primarily with nonprofits supporting Indigenous communities, Denver Public Schools, and the Colorado Department of Education. Her recent work includes supporting CDE and districts receiving COVID Education Relief funds and collaborating with the Colorado Food Cluster to address COVID-19 impacts on underserved communities.
