Aubrey Valencia is the founder and executive director of The Storytellers Project. Born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Denver, she holds a BFA in Art Education and an MEd in Curriculum and Instruction. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Aubrey is a graduate of The Circle of Latina Leadership, the Leadership Development Program from The Center for Creative Leadership, and a 2023 Lideramos Fellow. She enjoys hiking, rock climbing, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her daughter Jasmine and dog Leroy.
