Michael H. Smith serves as a Senior Program Officer at The Colorado Health Foundation (TCHF), where he co-leads the Foundation’s Advocacy Priority and supports its Locally Focused Work. Prior to TCHF, Michael was a Program and Strategy Officer at the Richmond Memorial Health Foundation in Richmond, VA. He also gained extensive experience in real estate development and urban planning in Pittsburgh, PA, and Charlottesville, VA. Michael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia. He is a 2023-2024 Fellow in the On Being Social Healing Fellowship and an alum of the Terrance Keenan Institute for Emerging Leaders in Health Philanthropy
