Luisa Porras was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and moved to the United States three and a half years ago. She attended law school in Colombia and pursued her passion for writing and language by studying creative writing in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Luisa loves reading, art, and literature and views linguistic justice as a powerful tool. Passionate about community work, she actively volunteers in Lake County, particularly with projects involving the Latine community, and helps tell the story of the impactful work done by Lake County Build a Generation.
