Karen McNeil-Miller has dedicated her career to social and human impact. As president and CEO of The Colorado Health Foundation since 2015, she directs efforts to benefit Coloradans in need by allocating human, financial and influence capital. Her commitment to the Foundation's mission is clear: “I chose this field to be on the ground in Colorado communities, to assist those in need in every way I could.” Previously, Karen led the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust in North Carolina for over a decade, transforming it into a strategic, impactful foundation. Her earlier career at the Center for Creative Leadership honed her leadership skills. Active in the nonprofit and philanthropic community, Karen serves on several boards, including the Colorado Community College System and the Alliance for a Healthier Generation. At home, she enjoys family life, a passion for shoes, reading and relaxing on her deck with a glass of wine.
