This interactive session will provide an overview and history of digital storytelling following the StoryCenter method, which has been applied globally in a range of contexts. Examples will include short videos exemplifying how digital stories can be used to promote critical conversations, question stigma and bias, and advocate for social change and equitable policies. The session will include a digital storytelling mini-workshop during which you will develop and share a personal narrative and discuss how your narrative might be used to advance health equity.

- Understand key elements of digital storytelling and its applications in health promotion, especially regarding systems change and advancing health equity.
